I had a wonderful spacious room with breathtaking view over the river and mountains. Staff were very professional, the bed was very comfortable, the provided coffee in the room was great and I loved using the gym, pool and public bath.

Impressive hotel with incredibly spacious rooms - which is rare for Japan. Everything was very clean and well organized. We told the hotel receptionist that we are a couple on our honeymoon and he was kind enough to upgrade us to a higher floor which includes free lounge access.

If you are attending events in the Gifu conference center, this is definitely the hotel to stay at. Priced roughly in the range of US motels, this hotel can easily out-compete the Hiltons, Hyatts, and Marriotts in terms of amenities, services, rooms, restaurants, and general comfort. Amazing value, service, and style.

A pleasant check-in. The front staff were courteous and helpful. The location was great. From the room we could see the river below which was nice. You can have a morning walk / jog beside the river. And at night walk a little further downstream and catch cormorant fishing in action.

The hotel is very well presented with exceptional facilities The room was larger than any that we stayed in during our Japan holiday. Dining in the Teppanyaki was pricey but food and service was exceptional. Pool and spa facilities were also another great feature. Breakfast was a mix of western and local and was great value at $18

Location along the riverside is stunning! Get a river facing room. Staff were all fabulous and the loaner bikes were in top condition. We went all around town on them Room size was USA-like... Huge by Japanese standards The amenities were all top notch

There was a great spread for breakfast! The food was splendid! The room was clean and comfortable, and the view of the Nagara River was gorgeous. Staff were very professional and kind. Location is good too!

Gifu is a great place to visit and this hotel is close to Gifu Park and Gifu Castle. If you are looking for an authentic experience in Japan, this is an excellent area to visit. The hotel is luxurious - the rooms are large and have great facilities.
